1billsfan
Trust you understand the wall has not endured for the time it has, if it were not for the many fine folk who frequent site and those who do the work to facilitate this. The wall has changed much since its inception, frankly not all in ways that are to the better. There is not the sense of community and good will there once was, at least not as close and sadly many older posters do not connect with the new and younger ones who now frequent site. Its true , far to many voice mean spirited opinions and threads, clearly posed to do nothing more than incite and get a rise out of others, rather than exchange opinions and gain information and at times have some good natured fun. ( there is a line of ragging on each other that we all need not be thin skinned about, but unfortunately that line is clearly crossed to often these days. It does concern me at times given there are very real people behind these posts and threads we read, the nature of life and the times we live, I fear the very real hurt some do cause, rather than the building up of each other we could achieve. )You hang in there, stand up for yourself and keep posting and ignore the mean spirited , the wall a place of fine folk and a great group who work hard to keep it in operation, I encourage you not to let the few bring you down. ... Not that I'm a big fan of Scooby, but your reply and the OP's reply to his sarcastic remark are a major over-reaction. If someone is so thin skinned that they have to sit on Oprah's coach just because of a throw away sarcastic comment then perhaps the wall isn't the place to visit. There are definitely times when posters go over the line here, but Scooby was no where near in the vicinity. In fact, it's well known that the moderators get very irritated by multiple threads on the same topic. Scooby actually had a good point.
San Jose Bills Fan
This thread makes it clear. We should draft someone with the initials JP. Does this also mean we should also trade for Julius Peppers?
millbank
My comment who not directed at scooby . Its my opinion over all. You are right though, perhaps the wall is not a place for me to visit anymore. Not that I'm a big fan of Scooby, but your reply and the OP's reply to his sarcastic remark are a major over-reaction. Sisyphean Bills
Does this also mean we should also trade for Julius Peppers? Probably does. It'd be easier to recycle rants blaming the team's failures on an individual that way.
Nick the Greek
Normally I hate these dead horse posts...but it made me think of buffalo real estate. I wonder if players put into consideration the fact that their house will cost about 4 times as much in another city. You lose a good chunk of your money on relocating and paying more for your house and cost of living. Just some food for thought. you buy a house for 4 million.. hopefully you can sell for at least that much, or even make a bit of a profit. isnt that the point of investing in real estate? I think houses would appriciate more in value in philly over buffalo.. do you think players would like to re-coup more money for their investment? 1billsfan
My comment who not directed at scooby . Its my opinion over all. You are right though, perhaps the wall is not a place for me to visit anymore. I could see if you guys were talking about someone who made an egregious or offensive remark. But let's not get sullen over a throwaway comment like that. Save that for when it's necessary to call out an indiscretion. Nothing's perfect, even TSW. TC in St. Louis
why exactly are they the worst fans east of Oakland? is it because someone threw a snowball at santa claus 40 years ago? this is so overblown, there are ahole fans everywhere, not just Philly They have a freaking JAIL at the stadium for the hooligans. I went to a MNF game there a few years ago, and some girl flashed her yabbs, and a guy stood up and cheered, and they arrested him!! I love philly by the way, because the fans are merciless. and i hope they clean this bastard's clock.
