The Big Cat Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I can't speak for everyone who's friends with Whitner on Facebook, but personally I think it's pretty cool that a guy in the lime light makes him accessible to fans. Of course, there will be idiots who abuse this privilege, and lately Donte's Facebook Wall looks a lot like some of the negative, hate mongering, bash fests you'd see here at TSW. The difference? Anonymity. Turns out you can be a jack a$$ on the Stadium Wall and few people--if any--will know your true identity. I play this card all the time. Well, evidently there are a lot of whiny sports fans who take out their grievances publicly and directly to whom THEY believe to be the source of their ongoing frustration with The Bills. HA! There a lot of a-holes doing this, but today I was struck by a submission from one Christopher Capolupo. This Christopher Capolupo must be a pretty important guy to assume high status, online, over a guy who's probably accomplished more things and already made more money in just three years than Christopher Capolupo will make in his entire lifetime. Christopher Capolupo is by no means the only person who behaves this way, but poking around the intenets this morning, I found his latest gem be particularly pompous. You decide: I said you were an idiot and I have to say it again. You're an idiot for 3 reasons. 1. There is no X in thanks. 2. Did you mean bank account or did you really mean "back account"? and 3. This season is the 2009 NFL season not 2010. Are you giving up already or realizing that you will probably be suspended for some of it along with your buddy Marshawn? You have ruined your golden ticket to life by acting like an idiot. You should have enough money in your "back account" to hire an assistant who can tell you right from wrong. This assistant should have told you to stay away from a fight. He will also tell you to not carry guns, drugs and tell you to take a cab instead of committing a "hit and run". Let me know if you want any other advice. Go Bills 2013! Now, I read this and I ask "why?" Why did Christopher Capolupo feel the urge to write this? Why did Christopher Capolupo take the time to write this? What did Christopher Capolupo hope to gain? Is it because Christopher Capolupo was bad at sports growing up? Me thinks yes. Is it because he has a tiny weenie? Methinks yes. Is it because he's an embittered putz who doesn't have any real friends (or at least any one in his life that respects him) and he tries to mask his insecurity and distort other people's perception of him by posting what he believes to be a real zinging scather on a Facebook wall? Again, me thinks yes. Christopher Capolupo: boo this man! BOOOOOO!
Maddog69 Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Christopher Capolupo Free speach. Christopher may or may not be an A-hole and may or may not have a small Wee Wee, I really don't care either way. He has every right to express his opinion and I sort of agree with him. Donte seems like a great guy, and hopefully he is a productive player for the Bills for many seasons. He made a stupid decision in a stressful decision. This does not make him a bad guy automatically. His reaction and threat to sue Cleveland does indicate a lack of brains. He needs to stop it. He needs to admit the mistake, apologize to the Police and move on. This Christopher character seems a bit pricky complaining about the grammar and typo's. It's Facebook not a newspaper.
May Day 10 Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 i know a guy named that. i wonder if its him... can someone link me to Whitner's Facebook? ThanX
ROCCEO Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 i know a guy named that. i wonder if its him... can someone link me to Whitner's Facebook? ThanX I knew a guy with that name too. He was like an on-again off-again pitching coach we had during American legion in high school. Nice enough guy but seemed like a bit of a dunce to me. Drove a neon which had a spoiler on it, so clearly there was something wrong with his brain functions. It has been 8 years or so, maybe he put on some weight but I don't think that's the same guy I knew.
todd Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Some people have a very odd understanding of what free speech is. Sure, he can say whatever he wants. the issue is that Facebook is a PRIVATE entity, and a private entity can limit speech however they want. You might want to educate yourself on what freedom of speech really means. Free speach. Well, free speech gives me the right to call you a worthless idiotic puke puddle. But I don't have any reason to call anyone those things, so I won't.

Freedom of speech should be reserved to those who know how to spell it. (edit)
Dawgg Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Now we know Dawgg's real name. If that were truly me, I'd focus on his crappy on-field play, not his off-field conduct. BTW see the link in my sig?
PushthePile Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Freedom of speech should is reserved to those who know how to spell it. Nothing like calling out someone's spelling in a butchered sentence.
youbotymyboty Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Who's Dante? And when did I say I wanted him to care about me? Da(o)n-TAZE is the fool that can now use his piss for a nite-lite. If you were not in love with him you wouldn't write an essay on his Facebook status. How many times do you send him a post and stay up half the night waiting for a reply that never comes? I'm embarassed for you.

dbringer Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I bet you this Christopher is a kid - no more than 15. Most Facebook users who aren't losers tend to be young...OK, there, I said it. On the other hand, those who visit Two Bills Drive are mature like me.
