I like what Andy Reid said

Eagles coach Andy Reid said in a statement. "I have always believed that success in the NFL is derived from the strong play of the offensive and defensive lines."

I wish the Bills would put more emphasis on building the lines with more than just journeymen players.

Hopefully, after years of drafting futility, the front office has gotten the message.

Hadn't read that, but Andy Reid has coached the same team for 10 seasons. That's an achievement in the current NFL. I believe only Jeff Fisher has done that. He's a former position coach and OC. Part of Bill Walsh's coaching tree, and he's been successful.

I wish teams wouldn't try to reinvent the wheel. Reid is right, even though his cost was high. He's drafted a lot of OL and DL in recent years. Not all of them (Corey Simon, Winston Justice) have been successful, but a great many of them have.
