TimGraham Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Six years, $60 million Almost $25 million in guarantees In terms of new money (because he was under contract for two years) it's four years at $53 million.
Realist Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 So if its true the Bills were offering nearly 10 Million, is it safe to say Peters did not want to play for Buffalo anymore?
RayFinkle Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I feel better now. That is some serious coin...
BillsVet Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Philly wanted him and we didn't. Or maybe Peters didn't want Buffalo. Andy Reid, 7 out 10 in playoff appearances since 1999. Buffalo: 1. If it's true he wanted 11.5 per, maybe it was a way of getting out of Buffalo. Still would have wanted him, and not had to find OL on Day 1. Or perhaps Kirk Chambers is a capable LG, Walker can play LT, and Demetrius Bell will be a fine RT. Yeah right.
PromoTheRobot Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 That new money = over $12.5M/yr. Hello Mr. Highest Paid LT. Who was saying all the Bills need to do was over him between $10-11M? Philly better hope he earns it. PTR
atlbillsfan1975 Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 6 years 60 million is a lot of money. But not for a motivated lock down LT. Now the Sixty Million Dollar question is, which Peters will the Eagles get? And for how long?

Búfalo Blanco Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Almost $25 million in guarantees Yeah... Its quite obvious a small market team would've never given him that...
atlbillsfan1975 Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I know, right? It sucks that the season starts tomorrow. Exactly!
Lori Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Six years, $60 million Almost $25 million in guarantees In terms of new money (because he was under contract for two years) it's four years at $53 million. $25 million guaranteed? Nice work if you can get it ...
CarolinaBill99 Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I have to think that the Bills could have afforded that... Tim, You think they are going to get the better end of that deal?
KOKBILLS Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Peters didn't want Buffalo. That's the feeling I've had since He started this sitting at Home thing last year...I felt all along Peters simply did not want to play in Buffalo any more...
KOKBILLS Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 $25 million guaranteed? Nice work if you can get it ... I can't...

Buffalo: 0. The Bills got so schooled on this trade it's a freakin' joke. #28???????
BuffaloRebound Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I really hope Brandon knows what he's doing. He certainly isn't lacking balls. Let's hope he has brains too.
TimGraham Posted April 18, 2009 Author Posted April 18, 2009 I have to think that the Bills could have afforded that...Tim, You think they are going to get the better end of that deal? I want to see what the Bills do in the draft first.
Big Turk Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 How many playoff appearances has Peters helped the Bills get to? None. Enough said.
lacoy38 Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 6 years 60 million is a lot of money. But not for a motivated lock down LT. Now the Sixty Million Dollar question is, which Peters will the Eagles get? And for how long? he'll be cut by 2011. no reason to play, no motivation, just $$
nodnarb Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Well that's a lot of money for a guy who is willing to hold out on his team until the start of the season while under contract for 3 more years despite the fact that that team developed him into the player he became (for one year).
