Mighty Taco Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 From Bills Daily: http://www.billsdaily.com/news/ Bills Looking To Trade Kelsay? The Buffalo News is citing a league source that says the Bills are floating Chris Kelsay's name in a possible trade as they still may be targeting a defensive end with one of their two first round picks. The team may be looking to stockpile draft picks as they are now up to nine assuming the Jason Peters trade goes through ok. Besides Kelsay we reported last week that Roscoe Parrish could be on the trading block because of a logjam at wide receiver. Stay tuned to Bills Daily as it promised to be a busy week heading into the draft next weekend.
Erik Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Bills Daily reports that the Buffalo News is reporting that Chris Kelsay's name is also coming up in trade talks. I haven't seen that anywhere. It does make sense if we think we can get Orakpo or Brown...Kelsay and Denney are similar players and Denney is much cheaper...but damn Brandon is not messing around is he?
BillsVet Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 What can they get for a pass rusher who can't rush the passer and falls for every change of direction play?
VOR Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Looks like major change is in the air. Given the past results, I can't say that it's anything other than a good thing.
BuffOrange Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 What can they get for a pass rusher who can't rush the passer and falls for every change of direction play? Maybe a punt catcher to replace Parrish after he's traded for 6th round pick?
Chalkie Gerzowski Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Combine the motor (Kelsay) with the midget (Parrish) and see what you get....3rd day draft pick?
buffalonian Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Trade everybody. Can we trade Toronto too? (no offense to all you well respected Canadian fans). I would feel fine if we traded next year's game in Toronto with, say...tegucigalpa, Honduras.
Lori Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Interestingly, upon searching The News' Web site, I couldn't find anything to match this report.
Max997 Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I dont know what Kelsays number is for next year but Im sure its too high for anyone to take on...my guess is he gets cut shortly after the draft
bdelma Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 They need his leadership, plus he would good as a backup.
JPicc2114 Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 clean house.. this is the way to go.. cut all the fat and dead weight
BillsGuyInMalta Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Hell, just release Kelsay. You do that, and we'll consider this Peters thing a wash.
beastly23 Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 BEST NEWS IVE HEARD BESIDES NOT RESIGNING JP LOSERMAN
