Peters will never be happy & within 2 years, he'll be back to the table with some other agent asking for $15 M. We have saved ourself a huge headache now and later, JO he is. What about the extra 18 Million of un-shared revenue the Bills pocketed from Rogers Communications last season? Why not just use that money to pay Peters' signing bonus and keep the 27 year old Pro Bowl left tackle on your team? That total will be up to $36 Million by this time next season, and do you really think the Bills will spend it on any Pro Bowl free agents not coming off injuries and in the prime of their careers, demanding at least $10 Million a year? Aside from the TO 1 year signing (which may be more of a publicity stunt to keep butts in seats) what significant FA have the Bills signed since TKO? Face it, unless we overpay, quality FA's will visit Buffalo to drive up their asking price and then sign somewhere else. No one else wanted TO, that's the only reason he's in Buffalo. Even Tony Gonzalez wouldn't accept a trade to the Bills last year and at that time we were at least in the playoff hunt.
