dib Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 thats it? Picks? WTF is wrong with this organization?
bizell Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 wow.. i'd have thought that we'd get a little more than that for peters. ah well.
Coach Tuesday Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 We have no NFL-caliber starters on our line. Not a single one.
Gordio Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 wow.. i'd have thought that we'd get a little more than that for peters. ah well. Meet Andre Smith, your new LT for the buffalo bills.
Gordio Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 We have no NFL-caliber starters on our line. Not a single one. That is not true. Walker, Butler & the guy we got from carolina are all capable starters.

Kelly the Dog Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 I forgot that this year the third round is on Day Two, so this better be a third also, but still.
Coach Tuesday Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Meet Andre Smith, your new LT for the buffalo bills. So let's see if I have this right. This morning, we had a Pro Bowl LT and were in a position to use the 11th overall pick on a passrusher or playmaking TE. Now, we have no LT (or LG), and we'll have to use the 11th pick on a fat, unproven LT. We'll have to wait to 28 to try to shore up the defensive front seven. God I hate this franchise.
Peter Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 That is horrible for a two time pro bowl left tackle.
KD in CA Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 thats it? Picks? WTF is wrong with this organization? Well it was either gonna be a starter or a 1st round pick, not both. The Eagles know he's overrated too.
Kelly the Dog Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 I'm sure Trent Edwards, TO, Lee Evans and Marshawn Lynch are thrilled. Not to mention Dick Jauron, who could very well have just lost his career. It's possible this works out well in the long run, but it's hard to imagine a decent offensive line this year with no proven NFL players, and a rookie LT IF we get one.
SKOOBY Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Well it was either gonna be a starter or a 1st round pick, not both. The Eagles know he's overrated too. & overpaid.
