PromoTheRobot Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 You are correct. But adding 35% to current prices would put Bills average at $70 which would be based on 2008 prices even with San Francisco at 14 th in league or in middle. The 28th team Seattle averaged at $61.25 There is no reason why Bills fans would not pay that IF the Bills were a contending team. The larger question is can they increase the price of suites by that much? PTR
BuffaloRebound Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Because without teams like the Bills, the NFL is just a big corporate behemoth whose main goal is to satisfy suits and fantasy geeks. Basically it becomes the NBA.
stuckincincy Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 In the scheme of the NFL that would add up to pocket change for most NFL owners. Hardly a deterent. PTR Do you actually think they would pay off a City, a County? It is not at all in the scheme of things. You stating it to be doesn't make it so.
Mr. WEO Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 There is no reason why Bills fans would not pay that IF the Bills were a contending team. The larger question is can they increase the price of suites by that much? PTR I agree, people would pay to be better entertained.
Rubes Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 It's a simple answer really. The NFL is about the fans right? Wrong. I'll give you a hint: $
stuckincincy Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Wrong. I'll give you a hint: $ Same as medicine...
PromoTheRobot Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Do you actually think they would pay off a City, a County? It is not at all in the scheme of things. You stataing it to be doesn't make it so. You completely lost me. First you posted how about the Bills ought to pay back the taxpayers for all the money we've given this if they leave. Then I respond saying that the amount you refer to wouldn't be that much is anyone even tried to. So what are you jumping on me for? PTR
BillnutinHouston Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Well-supported heritage franchise. I like the sound of that - "heritage franchise".
VOR Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 I agree, people would pay to be better entertained. Really? How much more? $21 a ticket more, which would get them to average ticket prices? Doubtful.
The Dean Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Another troll, another thread about justifying the Bills existence.
