Unless someone steps up and takes over the reigns of this group, a top 5 pick is well within reach. I hate to be pessimistic but the last hope of any optomism was 1999...........enough said! Defeatism, negativity, skepticism. With that sort of attitude there's no sense of even playing the games. Maybe there's truth to the theories that the attitude of the community has infected the team. The unveiling of the schedule should at least be one of those moments where we can suspend disbelief and grasp some hope. 1 Sep 14 BUF @ NE L 0-1, Too tall an order so early. 2 Sep 20 TB @ BUF W 1-1, Bucs are rebuilding and ain't gonna win in our house. 3 Sep 27 NO @ BUF L 2-1, Saints don't travel well. They're lucky to visit in September but that's as far as their luck goes. 4 Oct 04 BUF @ MIA L 2-2, We were 4-2 in division in '07, and 0-6 in '08. We'll go 3-3 this year. Miami wins at home. 5 Oct 11 CLE @ BUF W 3-2, Browns rebuilding. Payback time for the Bills. Ain't gonna happen in the Ralph for Cleveland. 6 Oct 18 BUF @ NYJ W 4-2, Jets shuffling the deck yet again. No quarterback, new system. Our stability prevails. 7 Oct 25 BUF @ CAR L 4-3, Carolina not invincible but John Fox at home is too tough a test. 8 Nov 01 HOU @ BUF L 5-3, Houston, like New Orleans hasn't proven a thing.
