mead107 Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Thank god for the loss on the Business this year . Better than paying .
damj Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Better than paying . 2 large here ... ouch! We need to fix that for next year.
Lori Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Still have to do that. Been putting it off, because with the added income from the paper, I'm pretty sure I'll be paying this year.
KRC Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Still have to do that. Don't worry. You have plenty of time.
damj Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Don't worry. You have plenty of time. Yeah, I got my reaming done last night.

JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 I e-filed my federal last night - over a grand back . And I owe NYS $134 The state return goes in the mail on the way home from work this evening

stuckincincy Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Don't worry. You have plenty of time. The fee for "Certified" is roughly $2.75 plus normal postage. I don't know the exact cost. That small chunk out of your hide insures you sent it off in time, and if it doesn't show, that's the post office's problem - not yours. You have your receipt. PO folks may try to sell you the "return receipt" thing, but there is no reason. You just need proof of mailing.
Chef Jim Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Hopefully my accountant filed my extension. You can't file an extension for payment.
erynthered Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 You can't file an extension for payment. I know..........shouldnt be any due.............I'm pretty sure...........I hope...........
BuffaloBill Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 You can't file an extension for payment. Yepper had to send mine off today.

Filed mine a week ago, was accepted by the gov't, and my refund should be direct deposited sometime this week.
Chef Jim Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 I know..........shouldnt be any due.............I'm pretty sure...........I hope........... OK then dipshit, if you're getting money back what the hell you need a extension for? And if you owe you get dinged for late payment. Stop posting on a !@#$ing message board and get your taxes done.
