RkFast Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Celebrate with a nice dinner at Taco Bell, because by then, after the Franchise Wars, all restaurants will be Taco Bell. NICE! "UGH...somebody put me back in the 'fridge"
John Adams Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Funny, that's exactly what people were saying in 1959. And we're 20% of the way there!
John Adams Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Glad I'll be dead. Of the fast food chains, Taco Bell is my favorite. I believe you can put their hot sauce on anything and convert it into something edible. (I eat fast food about 5x/year. I count Ruby Tuesdays, TGIF, and similar chains as fast food.)

(I eat fast food about 5x/year. I count Ruby Tuesdays, TGIF, and similar chains as fast food.) Me too, gotta have that fix every now and then. However I don't count TGIF type restaurants as fast food. Anyplace you can get a decent salad and some steamed veggies with your entree doesn't count in my mind.
DC Tom Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Of the fast food chains, Taco Bell is my favorite. I believe you can put their hot sauce on anything and convert it into something edible. (I eat fast food about 5x/year. I count Ruby Tuesdays, TGIF, and similar chains as fast food.) It's my wife's favorite, too. When we bought the house, I told her "We'll have enough space to plant a garden. What do you want to plant?" "Ooooh! Taco Bell!"
blzrul Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Well, that's no ordinary rabbit! That's the most foul, cruel, and bad-tempered rodent you ever set eyes on! Look, that rabbit's got a vicious streak a mile wide! It's a killer! He's got huge, sharp-- eh-- he can leap about-- look at the bones! :-) Have you seen the musical? I saw it on Broadway twice...better than the movie.

Kelly the Dog Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 :-)Have you seen the musical? I saw it on Broadway twice...better than the movie. Spamalot? Better than The Holy Grail? Now I know you're insane. And yes, I have seen Spamalot.
Chef Jim Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Spamalot? Better than The Holy Grail? Now I know you're insane. And yes, I have seen Spamalot. Thanks for that. I have not seen Spamalot (would like to though) but I thought there is no way it could even be anywhere near as good as The Holy Grail.

I own the movie but enjoyed the live performance more...David Hyde Pierce was the BEST Robin! Of course I could have done without that Lady in the Lake thing....
/dev/null Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 I own the movie but enjoyed the live performance more...David Hyde Pierce was the BEST Robin! Of course I could have done without that Lady in the Lake thing.... You won't succeed on Broadway if you don't have any Jews
Jon in Pasadena Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 Cool. Then I can play sex games with Sandra Bullock Sure. A 95 year old Sandra Bullock.
erynthered Posted April 15, 2009 Posted April 15, 2009 Sure. A 95 year old Sandra Bullock. She'd still be hot to me, DUH! (didnt see the movie did ya?)
Jon in Pasadena Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 (didnt see the movie did ya?) You kidding? We did some of the EFX on DM, as well as Speed, Speed2, Ya-ya Sisterhood, etc. I've seen parts of Sandra that you can only dream of!
ieatcrayonz Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Frankly, I think it's a stupid question because as of right now it's impossible to say with any degree of certainty whether Sasha OR Malia will be President. Somehwere, Meazza is already imagining a catfight.
The Dean Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 As I will be almost certainly be long dead by then, America, and the world itself, will not exist in the fictional time of "2059", pretty much by definition, I think.
swede316 Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 By then the machines will have risen and taken over the world...Only if the Republican Governor of California could travel back in time to save us...oh never mind!
Chef Jim Posted April 22, 2009 Posted April 22, 2009 By then the machines will have risen and taken over the world...Only if the Republican Governor of California could travel back in time to save us...oh never mind! California has a Republican governor?
swede316 Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 California has a Republican governor? He does not act like it does he? Well maybe he's as republican as you can get for the Peoples Republic of Kalifornia.
