stinky finger Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 innocuous----adj. unlikely to harm or disturb anyone Astro, to be fair LynchMob was refering to our offense. Innocuous just might fit perfectly.
KD in CA Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 The options for the Bills remain limited. They can pursue a veteran like Foster or Warrick Dunn or Michael Pittman or Franco Harris lol
LynchMob23 Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 innocuous----adj. unlikely to harm or disturb anyone Thanks for the definition. Here is the example for said word: 3rd-and-10, Bills run a draw to either get the first down or just get room for a punt, which is a play done hundreds of times without incident. An innocuous play, rendered horrific by a DeShaun Foster fumble. Thanks though, the alacrity with which you challenged my grasp of the English language kept me on my toes.
Kelly the Dog Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 Astro, to be fair LynchMob was refering to our offense. Innocuous just might fit perfectly. Exactly. We hardly ever noc the crap out of anyone.
LynchMob23 Posted April 12, 2009 Posted April 12, 2009 Puntastic Easter Sunday...Love it! Hiyooooo. But yeah, I think it's a pretty bad idea to bring Foster in, especially if he starts his fumble-itis...
bourbonboy Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 I agree that this is not a priority - Lynch will probably only miss a game or two after he appeals, so there is no real urgency here. It's no different than Lynch getting dinged up and missing a game or two in the middle of the season. If you have confidence in your #2 and #3 backs, you don't panic and hire another RB as soon as you hear that your stud will miss a game or two. Jackson can easily handle the job, and if Omon can show anything in the preseason, you go to war with the guys we have. I know we're not talking big $$, but there's better ways to use the cash, and if we need to add someone later, there will always be a temp-filler FA available.
Big Turk Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 if Dominic Rhodes is still a FA he's the guy I'd go after. That guy sucks...prototypical 3.5 yard per carry RB with minimal skills...
reddogblitz Posted April 14, 2009 Posted April 14, 2009 He does not carry a gun forget about it he would not fit in His (Warrick Dunn) Mom was a cop. I'd suspect he knows a thing or two about guns.
