TheBuffaloBills Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 http://www.profootballtalk.com/2009/04/11/...ree-for-peters/ Is that worth it?
robkmil Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 I'd do it if I were the Bills. if they signed peters now that would only be good for two years then he starts holding otu again.
ChevyVanMiller Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 http://www.profootballtalk.com/2009/04/11/...ree-for-peters/ Is that worth it? Really, I hadn't heard. I wish there were more Peters trade posts so I could stay in the loop!
KD in CA Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Yup. Lots of LT in this draft. Unless they want to lock in an underachieving guy for $12MM a year forever, now is the time to deal him. Spend the savings on a pass rusher or TE.
SKOOBY Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 If it's a team in the top ten picks this season, a first should get us a impact player.
The Dean Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Really, I hadn't heard. I wish there were more Peters trade posts so I could stay in the loop! Seriously. This has already been discussed to death, in many threads,. How is it the OP didn't notice that?
Dr. Trooth Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 1st & 3rd? That's tradespeak. And, what that means is that they will settle for a 2nd & 4th. If they get more than a mid to late 1st rounder, I'll schitt my Russ Brandon autographed under shorts.
atlbillsfan1975 Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Yes it is. From the stand point that the Bills don't or can't pay him what he wants. So then yes i would deal him for a first and third. Move on, get a young good LT and LG in the first two rounds. Bills have some vets that can work in with the rooks and you should have a very good Oline for years to come if the scouting dept did their homework, and the Bills make the right picks. You would still be able to address all your other areas of needs with your other first second and third round picks.
