BillsWatch
http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/story/11604470 Wright, as a seventh-round draft pick of Buffalo in 2002, spent portions of the 2002 and 2003 seasons on the Bills' practice squad. He played four seasons with the San Jose Sabercats (2005-08) of the Arena Football League, where Wright caught 292 passes for 3,229 yards and 42 TDs to go with five TDs rushing and 113 kickoff returns for 2,450 yards and four scores. Never showed much in Buffalo but maybe now he has tuned his skills enough to compete for roster spot or at least be camp competition.

Miyagi-Do Karate
Didn't Wright have some legal troubles right after the draft or during his rookie season? I actually was sort of high on him; good to see he's getting another shot.

Wright surrendered Tuesday afternoon and was jailed on reckless driving and felony hit-and-run charges. Wed, 08 Jan 2003 17:45:18 -0800 The AP reports Buffalo Bills practice squad WR Rodney Wright pleaded guilty Wednesday to leaving the scene of a collision that injured two people. Under the plea deal in Fresno County Superior Court, Wright faces no penalty if he stays out of trouble for a year. If he has another brush with the law, he could face up to three years in state prison for the felony. .... and then 9 months after his plea deal, he followed that up with this .... Tue, 16 Sep 2003 07:18:51 -0700The Buffalo News reports the Buffalo Bills' release last week of WR Rodney Wright came shortly after he was charged with driving while intoxicated following a three-car accident in Hamburg, N.Y. Police and team sources said Wright was also charged with driving without a license and making an unsafe lane change after refusing a Breathalyzer test at the scene. Wright's vehicle apparently struck the one ahead of him, sending that vehicle toward oncoming traffic, while he attempted to change lanes. The receiver could face up to three years in prison for violating the California agreement if he's convicted in the Hamburg case. Maybe he's finally grown up? Hope so for his sake ....
