Safety George Wilson has signed his $1.01 million restricted free agent tender with the Buffalo Bills, according to Adam Caplan of Scout.com.

A former Arkansas player, Wilson recorded 25 tackles and 1 1/2 sacks last season.

Wilson has been with the Bills since being signed to the practice squad in 2004.

For his career, he has 64 career tackles, two interceptions and one touchdown.

Now he, too, can claim he's worth a million dollars.

I am surprised that George Wilson did not do a Peters (hold his breath until he turned blue) and insist Buffalo trade him to a team which faces Tony Romo twice a year!

I like Wilson a lot. I don't understand the negativity about him.

We all like George. Just a little sarcasm in this long offseason.

Isn't Wilson the player that changed positions to help the team in 2007. Yes it also ment he had a better shot at making the team. But he was receptive to the request of the coaching staff. In the first game he started he went out on Monday night against Dallas and played his butt off. Picked Romo off for a T.D. Now it doesn't mean he is the second comming of Ronnie Lott, which he obviously isn't. But if Peters had one once of his character he would be the best football player in the league.
