WWVaBeach Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 Now that Burress is gone, the best receiver in NY is LEE EVANS! Both Schlereth & Hasselbeck agreed. Finally some love.
atlbillsfan1975 Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 ahh addition by subtraction. You got to love it.
Lori Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 Now that Burress is gone, the best receiver in NY is LEE EVANS! Both Schlereth & Hasselbeck agreed. Finally some love. Terrell's gonna be ticked ...
WWVaBeach Posted April 3, 2009 Author Posted April 3, 2009 Terrell's gonna be ticked ... They actually talked about that. I think Suzy Kolber asked "not TO"? Both said nope.
Alphadawg7 Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 Evans was already the best player in NY...hes better than Plax IMO...
Steely Dan Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 They actually talked about that. I think Suzy Kolber asked "not TO"? Both said nope.
The Jokeman Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 Then they're both nuts. While one has to respect Lee he is no where near talented as TO. Owens is top 5 in the league where it's hard to argue Lee is top 5 in the AFC as would rank Moss, TO, Andre Johnson, Ocho Cinco, Reggie Wayne all above Evans. One could argue that Derrick Mason, Lavernous Coles are better too and that's just off the top of my head.
ans4e64 Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 Evans was already the best player in NY...hes better than Plax IMO... Are you joking?

Unless T.O. completely drops off this year, there is no comparison, Evans is clearly the #2.
Fingon Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 Word. Unless T.O. completely drops off this year, there is no comparison, Evans is clearly the #2. Are you serious? If Evans was on Dallas last year, he would have had 80+ catches for 1300+ yards and 10+ TDs.
/dev/null Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 Besides the fact that the Giants (and Jets) play in Jersey
ans4e64 Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 Are you serious? If Evans was on Dallas last year, he would have had 80+ catches for 1300+ yards and 10+ TDs. Is that seriously your argument? Wow.

T.O. is a future Hall-Of-Famer who still looks like he has a lot of game left, while Evans has done absolutely nothing in this league in comparison.
Max997 Posted April 3, 2009 Posted April 3, 2009 Now that Burress is gone, the best receiver in NY is LEE EVANS! Both Schlereth & Hasselbeck agreed. Finally some love. why do people care so much about what the people at ESPN think
Lori Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 why do people care so much about what the people at ESPN think You know, that's a really really REALLY good question.
WWVaBeach Posted April 4, 2009 Author Posted April 4, 2009 You know, that's a really really REALLY good question. I was working on the computer and had it on in the background. I wasn't actually watching.
Marshmallow Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 Besides the fact that the Giants (and Jets) play in Jersey yep. and when the Bills move to Toronto, there won't be any team in NY.
OrangeJuiceSimpson Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 Is anybody surprised by this? Who would even be in consideration besides Evans?
HurlyBurly51 Posted April 4, 2009 Posted April 4, 2009 As long as ESPN is talking about us, it's all good.
