Alphadawg7 Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 Difinitely a big day for "Da Bears". They will be the talk of the football world now and not us For now they will be...but no one garners the spotlight like T.O. Come training camp time, all eyes will be on us, especially if we have a good draft...
C.Biscuit97 Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 Damn, I was hoping he could help us if we ended up trading Peters. Ah well Pace is a shell of himself and about as durable as Jonas Jennings at this point. The Bears are reaching big time and may have seriously hurt their franchise long term.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 The interesting thing here is that many Bills fans saw Pace as a cheap, inexpensive stop-gap at tackle. But the speculation I saw this week and last suggested that he would not sign for less than $5 million per year so he wouldn't exactly be cheap. I'm anxious to see how much Chicago ended up paying. Whether you like the moves or not, it must be an exciting day to be a Chicago Bears fan.
H2o Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 I think the Bears were almost forced to sign him after giving up the picks and John Tait's retirement.
