Shanahan's Horseshoe Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 When I first started drinking wine, in my late teens, and very early twenties, I drank a lot of German kabinett/spatlese/auslese wines. Not my cup-o-tea, now, but not a bad way to get introduced to wine. Wow, German reisling talk on TBD! I like the occasional Spatlese, especially on thanksgiving. The whole contrast between the sweet and the acidic gets me everytime. I would have been much happier to see Donte tippin back a Cotes du Rhone or a big Cali Cab...OH MY GOD, I GOT SUCKED INTO THE GAYNESS TOO!!!!!!!!!!

pBills Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 Oh, I've never said "no" to a sip/glass/bottle/case of 2 Buck Chuck, my friend. Just not the Riesling variety. I have to agree. Reisling? Really? Still kind of cold outside, go with a heavy Cab.
