Joe Miner
http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football..._raided_af.html Now, I realize the article said he wasn't there, and hasn't lived there, and thought the residence was empty. But... Similar statements have been used recently by other athletes, and it turns out they weren't telling the truth. Not saying he's guilty of anything, but this might be a story to keep an eye on. Hard to see based on the limited information how a condo in a gated community on LI is conected to drug retaliation murders in Brooklyn. Given that Vima has not lived there for two years hard to see how he would be connected.

Michael Vick apparently didn't live at his dog fighting property and hadn't been there in years either. But as the story unfolded more truth came out. Again, not saying Vilma is scum or guilty, but this is a double murder so there will definitely be a thorough investigation which may or may not end up changing the initial 'facts'. BuffaloBill
If he owns the house, he's connected. Certainly by circumstances but hard to figure out - based on what we are provided - if "connected" means actual involvement in the crime. I would argue he is not likely to be involved. Given that Vima has not lived there for two years hard to see how he would be connected. Yeah, we need to find out why they think it had any connection. Did they find any forensic evidence to link the condo to those murders and if so how did the killers get in?

I would argue he is not likely to be involved. Connected doesn't necessarily mean involvement in the crime, but that may not alleviate him of all culpability. Who where these people in his house? Why were they there? What contact did Vilma have with them, when and why? Seems like a nasty crowd for a fine, upstanding citizen to be associated with. Usually where there is smoke, there is fire. Certainly the Vick case reminded us of that.

I guess in some ways one could argue justice is served.
