spidey Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 Only 17% of voters 18 - 29 seem to have voted. Thats not a damn change from 2000. This is a sad state of affairs when many who had a chance to vote for possibly first or second fereal election and so little showed up.
Thurman's Helmet Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 Seems like things just arent that important for younger voters. I remember when I was in college, these things werent that big a deal for me. I wasnt really a taxpayer whereas now I have a home, a family etc.... and things are much more important. Joe Scarborough of msnbc said of the youth vote; "They'll leave you at the altar every time"
Alaska Darin Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 If you want the youth vote, figure out a way for them to do it through XBox, a condom machine, or the bottom of a beer glass. They don't realize how much they're getting screwed until they have kids of their own.
RkFast Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 Protesting and like activities are such sooooo much cooler than going to a dingy elementary school gym and waiting on line for a little bit.
Wacka Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 I guess P. Diddy going to have to pull out the uzis and start mowing down people. See last week's South park- Vote or Die
/dev/null Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 well spank my ass and call me a freak, cuz i'm part of that 17%
