Somebody, who called his connection to the team possible bunk, asked him what kind of car he drove as if to go by the stadium and see if there was a car like that parked there. I guess he thought it would be a way to verify his connection to the team. That's where the joke comes from. Did you just make that up because it isn't even close to the truth.

Owens can't afford it? Anyone who is outraged by this really needs to check their priorities. As has been noted, this $$ often goes to charity.
