2020 Our Year For Sure Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 And I bet you've had at least one winning season! Yeah, but I have the advantage of playing three different sports.
seq004 Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 I think we should put these on the helmets. The wammie weenie is back!...and bring back the only coach that brought championships with him (if he's still living). Coach Knox, you still out there? Whammy weenie
The Dean Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 I think we should put these on the helmets. The wammie weenie is back!...and bring back the only coach that brought championships with him (if he's still living). Coach Knox, you still out there? Whammy weenie Chuck Knox Super Bowl Wins: 0 Overall Championships: 0 Conference Championships: 0 Division Championships: 7 EDIT: BTW, that's in 22 seasons as HC in the NFL.
The Dean Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 The Bills have had championships with two head coaches (if you count Conference Championships): Lou Saban: Bills AFL Champs 1964 and 1965 In 15 years as a HC in the NFL, Saban had: Super Bowl Wins: 0 Overall Championships: 2 Conference Championships: 0 Division Championships: 3 Marv Levy: Bills AFC Champs 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994 In 17 years as a HC in the NFL, Levy had: Super Bowl Wins: 0 Overall Championships: 0 Conference Championships: 4 Division Championships: 7
Anzaloha Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Yeah, but I have the advantage of playing three different sports. Why do I know he was 7-9?
seq004 Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 Chuck Knox Super Bowl Wins: 0 Overall Championships: 0 Conference Championships: 0 Division Championships: 7 EDIT: BTW, that's in 22 seasons as HC in the NFL. Right Dean, what I meant was that when he became the head coach of the Bills in 1978 he came to Buffalo with 5 consecutive Division Championships under his belt. Can you see the Bills hiring a coach of that stature and profile today?
Lori Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 Chuck Knox Super Bowl Wins: 0 Overall Championships: 0 Conference Championships: 0 Division Championships: 7 EDIT: BTW, that's in 22 seasons as HC in the NFL. Of course, that's still seven more division championships than the four coaches we've had since Marv have managed to compile ... combined ...
