When I was in HS and some punk would wise off to the gym teacher (especially when we were playing floor hockey) the teacher would leave the room and say I will be back in half an hour. Needless to say there would be some serious checking and hard play. And in football the lineman always held court if someone was out of line- and they would determine the punishment.
