tennesseeboy Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 The book was by Gary Willis. I'm not a huge buff so I'll defer to the experts. Great speech though. I suspect we'll always measure speeches by this one.
ExiledInIllinois Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 The book was by Gary Willis. I'm not a huge buff so I'll defer to the experts. Great speech though. I suspect we'll always measure speeches by this one. He made CHANGES to it on the train ride... Still given about two weeks notice, he was a little taken aback. I bet there are a ton of answers and lore. IMO, it had to take him a lot more thought than we think... IMO Officially Abraham Lincoln wrote the speech at the Whitehouse, but made changes to it on the train ride to Gettysburg. Exactly when he may have written it is unclear. The address was delivered on November 19th, 1863, in Gettysburg Pennsylvania. Form WikiAnswers, take it for what it is worth.
Steely Dan Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 I honestly thought Pyrite Gal was a teenage girl posting from her basement so I always tried to be nice to her. I thought she may have taken criticism too harshly and left and I felt bad for her. (1, 2, 3..... waiting for the inappropriate teenage girl jokes. ) SteelyDan is trying to take back all those flirty PMs he thought he was sending to an actual Gal.... "Finkel is Einhorn!?!" Steely is God!!!
