markghbelobils Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Angelo Crowell-LB-Buccaneers Mar. 18 - 5:13 pm et Bucs signed LB Angelo Crowell, formerly of the Bills. Crowell can play both outside positions and was a 120+ tackle player as recently as 2007. Knee surgery cost him all of last season, but Crowell only turns 28 in August and figures to have something left. He will battle Geno Hayes, Adam Hayward, and Quincy Black for a starting job in camp. bills_red Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Cato or Keiaho now. don't think we will sign anyone since its been how long since they came.

BuffaloBlood Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 yea rotoworld just reported it too..... ahhh well I guess its June or a rook
AlbanyBill Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 I actually would have liked to resign him, assuming we could have been able to get him on the cheap. It would have freed up another draft pick for use elsewhere...
cantankerous Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Thank God. I'm glad too. It sounded like his knee injury was an ongoing thing. I remember hearing that last season wasn't the first in which he's had problems with it.

Fingon Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Freddy Keiaho is a pretty good young LB. I would prefer him over June.

seq004 Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Freddy Keiaho is a pretty good young LB. I would prefer him over June. They will need to sign one of the two. I think obviously Keiaho has more upside.
Pete Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 WTF? We let another of our solid players walk away. It is not like we are loaded with talent and have cap constraints. I am sick of this sh--!
ericwhit4 Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 maybe even a derrick brooks who played his entired career in the "tampa 2", the bills use, would be a good fit as well.
lynchneedsfood Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Damn it. Agreed, I have shouted all types of explatives after reading this information...
