Rayzer32 Posted November 2, 2004 Posted November 2, 2004 I think so far it is C-Mart by a hair, due in part to his age and all the beating up his body has taken over the years. He is putting up some great numbers to this point. It is hard to argue with what Brees has done with such little talent at the WR position in SD.
Matt in KC Posted November 2, 2004 Posted November 2, 2004 Okay, so it's probably not what you meant, but comeback player... how can Willis not be on the list? Of the ones you listed, Vurtis Martin gets my vote.

I will have another poll towards the end of the year.
Tux of Borg Posted November 2, 2004 Posted November 2, 2004 That's a good list but I had to choose Kurt. Everybody though his career was over, and Eli Manning was going to be the starting QB. Kurt has made a great comeback and deserves to start over the high price rookie. Question... if Brees continues to play well, what happens to Philip Rivers?

justnzane Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 Willis Macgahee. Come on the guy's career was supposed to be over last year, and took the starting job away from 1500 yd a year RB.

daquixers Posted November 3, 2004 Posted November 3, 2004 Dude. Definately Emmit Smith. He is averaging 4.0 + yards a carry for the first time since in Dallas in 1999.
