fitnbills Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 I hope the GM is being honest. I HATe the idea of Peppers in New England. "By the rules of the [Collective Bargaining Agreement], we cannot and have not had any conversations with other teams about Julius,” Hurney said in a team-issued statement. “Under the non-exclusive franchise tag, Julius and his agent, Carl Carey, are within their rights to talk to other teams about a potential contract. However, at this point, we are not aware of any such conversations.” http://blogs.charlotte.com/panthers/2009/0...l-or-talks.html

I mean, after all, do the Pats really need to buy another championship?
drinkTHEkoolaid Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 i keep expecting to hear at any minute peppers to NE for a 2nd rounder (since NE seems to always be able to scr3w everyone..) DOOMED!

murra Posted March 17, 2009 Posted March 17, 2009 If Peppers goes to NE for a 2nd round pick, and I find out we didn't even try to negotiate a trade... I don't care what his 4 teams are... at all... the NFL is messed up if he goes to the Pats for a 2nd.
