Alphadawg7
It's not hard to throw for 4000+ yards when you throw 40 times a game. Yes it is...you obviously have never played football...

Fingon
Yes it is...you obviously have never played football... Jon Kitna... yes i have played football, and it doesn't take a genius to know that almost every decent QB in this league could throw for 4000+ yards given 40 attempts a game. Kelly the Dog
Jon Kitna... yes i have played football, and it doesn't take a genius to know that almost every decent QB in this league could throw for 4000+ yards given 40 attempts a game. Good one. Kitna never threw 40 passes a game, and yet he threw for over 4000 yards twice. And he is just an average player. They were, of course, 10-22 in those years and a ton of those yards were in mop up time, but hey... http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/K/KitnJo00.htm That is not to say that anyone that throws 40 times a game would gain 4000 yards. There can't be many players that have ever thrown 40 times a game. I think there are only three. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/lead...ngle_season.htm

Well, sure, if you count 75th in passer rating, 47th in yards, and 69th in touchdowns amongst the all time league leaders. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/lead...ting_career.htm http://www.pro-football-reference.com/lead..._yds_career.htm http://www.pro-football-reference.com/lead...s_td_career.htm

BillsVet
I can't believe we're getting this worked up over Bus Cook. The same man who for years made GB worry that Favre was retiring. The same guy who got Favre to come back for one final season. I'm sure he's soaking this all in, especially now that his most famous client is (evidently) retired for good. This is the closest most men ever get to soap operas.

Yeah, top 50 all time is amongst the all time leaders, and if didnt miss this season he easily would have finished the year in top 30...

Guest three3
Buffalo Bills What they give up: Trent Edwards, 2nd round draft pick Why it makes sense: We already know the Bills are crazy, they signed Terrell Owens. Anyway, Cutler and T.O. could hook up for what, 37 touchdowns? Denver, meanwhile, gets a serviceable starter and a pick to take another college QB who they can groom for the next couple of years. Edwards would surely benefit from Brandon Marshall as much as he would Owens. http://network.nationalpost.com/np/blogs/p...-end-badly.aspx
Flbillsfan#1
I think Skooby has taken enough abuse on the car remark. Let it die. Skooby has said he does not mind the abuse, feel free to flame away.

We have not been very cavalier in signing free agents to plug the holes in our lines, especially the OL. At a minimum, we need the early picks to have half a chance of doing so through the draft. No matter who the QB, it will be tough for him to throw to Evans or TO if he isn't upright.

I see. Rather convenient for your argument don't you think? So you would consider Jake Plummer, and Chris Chandler and Jeff George and Craig Morton all time leaders but not Tom Brady and Drew Brees and Jeff Garcia and Bob Greise and Bart Starr. Got it.
