BillsFan Trapped in Pats Land Posted March 16, 2009 Author Posted March 16, 2009 son of a ..... I don't know how well he would play at OLB, but they certainly aren't making things easy on the Bills.
PushthePile Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Don't worry Bills nation. At the rate Demetrius Bell is improving, we can still afford to keep Walker at right tackle.
John from Riverside Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 OK......so why dont we just send them a sweeter deal. I would like to have Peppers on my team...
Lt. Dan's Revenge Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 OK......so why dont we just send them a sweeter deal. I would like to have Peppers on my team... That was exacty my initial reaction. It's not like the Patriots are giving up an arm and a leg with the 34th overall pick in the draft. If Carruci is on point, and there are serious talks happening, the Bills NEED to at least jump in the water and explore their options with Carolina. Not only to try to get Peppers in Buffalo and away from New England, but at the very least to drive up the price for the Patriots if they can't get him in the end.
CT Bills backer Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Peppers fpr Peters straight up. One overpaid player for another. Sounds like fun!
Fingon Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Peppers fpr Peters straight up. One overpaid player for another. Sounds like fun! The Panthers already have a LT.
Erik Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 Peppers Interesting...the football guys in Boston said there wasn't much interest...
DaGimp Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 How are we going to pay both Peppers AND Peters? don't care not my money
Mile High Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 A second pick? Why not just give up your first and take their second and third in exchange along with Peppers. Sounds feasable.
BillsFan Trapped in Pats Land Posted March 16, 2009 Author Posted March 16, 2009 Interesting...the football guys in Boston said there wasn't much interest... I assume you mean the shaven monkeys on WEEI. Fred Smerlas and Steve DeOssie? Lazy morons.
Jerry Jabber Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 If this is the case, does this put more pressure on the Bills FO to sign Peters instead of trying to trade him? It would be great if we could trade for Peppers. IMO, we need 2 DE's, not just one. Kelsay & Denney can't get a sniff of the QB and Schobel hasn't done much since 2006 (yes, I know he was injured last year, but he only had 1 sack in 5 games).
Cornerville Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 the bills should be all over peppers You are right...but...we need to know reality: Ralph, do you want Peppers?
Leonidas Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 How are we going to pay both Peppers AND Peters? Peppers is a top five DE. Peters had one good year. FO: WAKE UP AND GET THIS GUY IN!
