ax4782 Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 Guess it's a good thing we grabbed Owens. The Pats would have taken him, regardless of what they were saying at the time. You think other teams having to play against Evans and Owens will be difficult, imagine if we had to play against Owens and Moss twice a year. Anyway, he's another target for Tom Rickety-Leg Brady to throw too. They better hope he's totally healed from that surgery and not suffering a honeymoon hang over or the Pats' season could be done quick. No way Matt Guttierez, a third string quarterback at U of M, is going to be able to do what Cassell did for them last year. Unless the Cheatriots are still doing what they do best.
Leonidas Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 It doesn't matter at all. They've got Moss, Welker, and Greg Lewis (former Eagle) as their #1-3 WR's. Galloway is a #4 who will see some time but isn't essential for them at all.
bschmoove Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 I think Galloway can move up to three over Greg Lewis ... guy stinks.
Leonidas Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 I think Galloway can move up to three over Greg Lewis ... guy stinks. Maybe two years ago. Galloway's a dinosaur.

Its a good signing. He will bring in competition and if he doesnt pan out they can release him. They have a good receiving corps as it is so what he does like I said is gives competition plus depth.
PromoTheRobot Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 Maybe two years ago. Galloway's a dinosaur. H-G-H = comeback season. PTR
MattM Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 H-G-H = comeback season. PTR Ahhh, the Patriot* way. Remember, boys and girls, if you ain't cheatin', you ain't tryin'.....

Steely Dan Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 I'm sure the Pets* know what they're doing. They have more film of him than any other team.
lets_go_bills Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 This division has some serious WR talent. But Joey G is done now.
Willis990 Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 This move wreaks of desperation. It's called competition through depth. Straight from Patriots instructional video.
VOR Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 It's called competition through depth. Straight from Patriots instructional video. They've always been good with videotape.
lets_go_bills Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 They've always been good with videotape. ZING!
thewildrabbit Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 The bastages signed him to a one year contract http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playernews.aspx?sport=NFL I really hope the Bills are up to the task of beating them 2x for 09. Even if they have to take Pat White in round 2 and run the wildcat up Billicheats backside.

It would be nice at this point to just beat them once a year.
Booster4324 Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 It's called competition through depth. Straight from Patriots instructional video. You really aren't very good at this, but I give you credit for trying. Making a video reference? Regarding the pats? Are you insane?
