Coach55 Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 Bring in Holt and trade for Boldin... Run and Shoot baby!
R!P REVOLUTIONARIES Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 My prediction is Tennesse will sign him.
Alphadawg7 Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 Quick, sign Holt and move T.O. to tight end...lmao, that would rule...
Mike in Syracuse Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 Just some trivia about Holt. Back when Tony Kornheiser had his own show on ESPN radio he told a story about running into holt at a gym in Washington. Now keep in mind that this was back during his "Greatest Show on Turf" days but Tony said he watched him run on the treadmill for almost an hour. He said while that wasn't all that impressive the fact that the treadmill was at max elevation and max speed was.
The Dean Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 Torry Holt-WR-Rams Mar. 13 - 4:44 pm et NFL.com's Steve Wyche reports the Rams have released WR Torry Holt. Get'er Do...oh, nevermind.
BuffaloBill Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 Pass The jets or fins will get him Agreed - I think more likely to be the Jests
Alphadawg7 Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 Agreed - I think more likely to be the Jests Jets have repeatedly said they have zero interest in Holt, even if he is released...
TC in St. Louis Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 Torry Holt-WR-Rams Mar. 13 - 4:44 pm et NFL.com's Steve Wyche reports the Rams have released WR Torry Holt. He's a dome guy. Maybe the Colts will grab him. I think the best fit for him would be the Giants, really. He wants to play on a good team, and he still can bring it.
Kipers Hair Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 Holt is 3 years younger and a lot less distracting...I am an unabashed T.O. fan, but what would the organization have done if it had the choice between the two last week? I think it is still T.O. because he will sell more merchandise and tickets..
freedom2528 Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 Go get him and the fire works will begin, alot cheaper than Boldin and has the ability to run wild. Agood pick up for a cheap price. Give him a 3 deal worth 2 million and 3million bonus. Then get the tightend from Denver.....

BillsFan Trapped in Pats Land Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 How about we start 9 WRs, a center and a QB? They won't see that coming.
Kipers Hair Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 I bet he"ll get as much or more than Coles which means we wouldnt have signed him anyways. Probably right - to your point - I bet the Jets make a run at him....
freedom2528 Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 How about we start 9 WRs, a center and a QB? They won't see that coming. The WR will open up more lanes for Lynch, who is always pinned behind the line of scimmage....
rackemrack Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 i don't think holt would come here to be a 3rd reciever...
BillsObserver Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 I love how every free agent available is good for Buffalo. Dude, we have 2 receivers who make a lot of money, and 2 other guys behind them that make pretty darn good money. We have no need for Holt and we can't afford him anyways.
BillsObserver Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 He's a dome guy. Maybe the Colts will grab him. I think the best fit for him would be the Giants, really. He wants to play on a good team, and he still can bring it. You just said he's a dome guy, yet you think the best fit is the Giants? Nah, doesn't make much sense. The best fit would be with the Colts because he's a dome guy, as you say, and they play in a dome. Not to mention they have one of the best QBs in the league. He could easily replace Marvin Harrison.
