bigskyfan Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 according to the NFL.com blog angelo crowell is scheduled to meet with the bills on Monday if he hasn't already signed with the bucs over the weekend. I think this makes a lot of sense and would love to have him stay in buffalo.
bizell Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 i wouldn't be opposed to crowell staying in buffal.

PushthePile Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 I hope this is why we haven't signed any FA LBs, yet.
VOR Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 I know this will elicit a "no he doesn't" reply, but Crowell owes the Bills for paying him his $1.75M salary last year for delaying surgery until the last possible second, and for getting the proper treatment of his knee.
The Senator Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 Not possible. I've read right here on TSW, by numerous experts, that the ship has sailed, the bridge is burned, that Crowell will never talk to the Bills again, much less play for them.

Dammit Senator, you must cite your sources....Soprano? SKOOBY? WHo?!?!?
Cugalabanza Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 i wouldn't be opposed to crowell staying in buffal. There's something missing in "Buffal"
el Tigre Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 I'd like to see them re-sign Crowell and also either June or Keiaho. That would give us some quality depth at LB.

Who does he think he is??? He's using Buffalo for leverage.
BillsFan Trapped in Pats Land Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 Yes, such as Tim Graham. Who does he think he is??? He's using Buffalo for leverage. So, you know what he's thinking???
bigskyfan Posted March 13, 2009 Author Posted March 13, 2009 I'd like to see them re-sign Crowell and also either June or Keiaho. That would give us some quality depth at LB. If we're picking between the three of them, I give a slight edge to crowell, assuming he is healthy.
Dawgg Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 So, you know what he's thinking??? Nope. I trust Tim Graham's reporting. He wouldn't say that the bridge has been burned if he didn't have confirmation from his sources.
The Senator Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 Yes, such as Tim Graham. Who does he think he is??? He's using Buffalo for leverage. Good question - who does he think he is? I'm surprised he'd put that 'stake in the ground', but I was was referring to even more knowlegable TSW experts.

I've read right here on TSW, by numerous experts, that the ship has sailed, the bridge is burned, that Crowell will never talk to the Bills again, much less play for them. ...and how about "The Bills would NEVER sign T.O." "Why would he want to play for the Bills?"
MattM Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 Yes, such as Tim Graham. Who does he think he is??? He's using Buffalo for leverage. Yup--notice that the quote comes from "someone close to Crowell", but not the Bills....
2003Contenders Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 It could be true that all indications WERE that the shp had sailed. However, when Crowell saw that he wasn't getting any serious offers elsewhere -- and the Bills saw that there wasn't a reasonable replacement for him, perhaps the ship is on it way back into port?
The Senator Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 ...and how about "The Bills would NEVER sign T.O." "Why would he want to play for the Bills?" Here's an even funnier one... "Jason Peters is the best left tackle in the NFL today, maybe the best ever, and the Bills should just give him anything and everything he wants!"
Chandler#81 Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 There's something missing in "Buffal" Yep. The '0' has been M.I.A. for years now.
