Check out teh NFL section (page 7) in today's Sporting News at Sportingnews.com The article there on the right also says a lot -- the Bills are expecting national and international sponsors now that wouldn't have ever taken the Bills seriously before last weekend. People keep saying this is the biggest move for the Bills since trading for Drew Bledsoe. I think this is bigger than that; maybe the biggest thing since Jim Kelly came to town. Now that doesn't mean I put this anywhere near Kelly's arrival in terms of what it may mean to the on-the-field product. Rather, I mean it is the biggest deal since that in the sense of what it will mean business-wise to the organization. I think the success Kelly brought in wins and losses saved the organization. I think the excitement Doug Flutie's play brought to the Bills save the organization. And now I think the income Owens may bring to the team may once again save the organization.
