Steely Dan Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 Of course. Why not. It depends on his league suspension. JMO
billsfreak Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 I don't see him averaging 100 yards a game, since that is what it is going to take missing probably the first 4 games with a inevitable suspension. Also, with our new Prima Donna #81, the passing game is going to me more of a focus than last year.
millbank Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 Factoring in suspension time and injuries, 1000 yards will be a tall order. Having said that, the Bills running game will be fine.
Peter Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 I really hope that this is his break out year - whatever the yardage total is.
stinky finger Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 I doubt it. Too many cooks in the kitchen. That, and the suspension thingy.
krazy8321 Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 He will run for 1200 yards easy. There is a HUGE hole in the guard gap, for him to run through.
stinky finger Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 He will run for 1200 yards easy. There is a HUGE hole in the guard gap, for him to run through. Well played!
BillsBum11 Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 bills will pass more, ML will be suspended for 2 games prob... i doubt it
lets_go_bills Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 It all depends on the suspension. If he played a full 16 I'd be willing to wager he'd get over 1,400 yards.
atlbillsfan1975 Posted March 13, 2009 Posted March 13, 2009 If the Oline comes together. Then i think hell yeah. Plus he is in the third year of his rookie contract. He only has one more left after this year i believe, just a little extra motivation. He is a beast. And will break out this year. Probably get 4 game suspension, knocked down to two games after appeal. So he has to average 86 yds a game for 14 games. I will take the over.
spartacus Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 sure - if they count the yards he puts up in the prison league
cantankerous Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 He's not hitting 1,200. Especially with a suspension looming and Head Jackson getting his fair portion of carries.
H2o Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 If he gets suspended for more than 2 games? No. I think that him and Fred will be splitting the workload even more this year. I think it almost ends up being 50/50, especially if there's a suspension. They will both probably see around 200 carries. Let's say Lynch gets 200 carries, to get 1,200 yards he'll have to average 6.0 ypc. That is alot to ask for in a RB and almost unheard of since the days of Barry Sanders.
BillsObserver Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 Freddy Jackson will be killing opponents early in the season (when the Bills look their best), and will rush for over 1,000 yards. Beast Mode will now become Head Mode which will really be an interesting catch phrase. Lynch doesn't interest me much at the moment
manateefan Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 ?? Depends on Peters run blocking (ha ha) and whether or not he isn't suspended for any great lenght.
