Just saying, but Bruce Smith wandered into Buffalo, New York and weighed 300+ lbs. and didn't dedicate himself until he caught a whiff of how difficult the NFL really was, at his position. It is easy to paint this young man with the bust label, however, we all can recall how immature we were at 22 years of age. God knows, I wouldn't have a clue how I'd have responded in retrospect, and anyone who says that they are positive about the results they would have produced is just kidding themselves. He is, undoubtedly, a talent, we will see! I'm rooting for the kid personally.....

These "do you remember how immature you were at 22" lines are very tired. Why is it that all the other 20, 21, 22 year olds were able to get their shiiiit together and prepare for the combine and/or their pro days? This guy may be too stupid to even be an NFL lineman.

Oh, wait---maybe for DJ, he will "snap into shape", because you know how the fellas like to work hard for the ol' ball coach.

There are a lot of 21-22 year olds that weren't even mature enough to make it to college regardless of their God-given talent. They got sidetracked in high school.

There were a lot of 21-22 year olds who didn't have the maturity to dominate in college.

Mr. Weo, you know nothing about this kid, what he has been through and where he has been.

What's getting tiring is people judging others, without the capacity to think maybe that person actually has greater character than themselves.

While he was starting as a true freshmen, how many people with the ability to play in the NFL were self-destructing before they ever got close?
