He had three years left on his contract and wanted to renegotiate, did not show up for optional or mandatory off-season mini-camps or training camp, showed up in camp out of shape and played much below previous year's standard. Other that he is fine for some to raise flagpole about claiming he is an all-world player and they would chip in the extra money he wants by taking food out of the mouths of their children.

Any team can call any team and inquire as to the availability of a player. And any team can make a trade offer. Doesn't mean anything will happen.

I dig, but what offer would be absolutely to good to pass up. Realistically...
