OCinBuffalo
Meh. A 33 yr old guy who didn't play 7 games last year, with one(1) Int is going to start for the Pats*? Because he brings "size"? They will probably draft a guy, and this is their stop-gap.

DanInUticaTampa
Springs is awsome at covering TO. But he is always unhealthy. My friends who is a skins fan says he rarely finishes a game
Hazed and Amuzed
Springs is awsome at covering TO. But he is always unhealthy. My friends who is a skins fan says he rarely finishes a game True that. Springs has put TO on lockdown in their more recent matchups.
VOR
Springs is awsome at covering TO. Eh, not so much. I don't know if Springs was assigned to cover TO, but they faced each other once in each of the last 3 seasons, and Owens had 7 catches for 76 yards and a TD in 2006, 8 catches for 173 yards and 4 TD's in 2007, and 7 catches for 71 yards and a TD last year. The last time Springs may have been awesome at covering TO was in 2004 when TO was with the Eagles, and had a combined 8 catches for 70 yards and a TD in both games. dave mcbride
He's still an excellent player when healthy. Too bad the Pats got him. He'll probably be perfectly healthy for them.

VOR
Springs shut down TO twice last year. Read my post. Springs didn't shut down TO once last year, and hasn't in the past 4 years. Springs is a shell of his former self and always injured.
