ubhockey Posted November 2, 2004 Posted November 2, 2004 I know that this is a topic for another day, but I've always thought that four years was not enough for one man to change the country. For instance, the effect of George W. Bush will not be known for at least two more years. Plus, you figure the Prez spends his first year getting accustomed to the job and the final year campaigning, that's only about two years to make changes. I definitely think Presidents deserve more than four years.
JimBob2232 Posted November 2, 2004 Posted November 2, 2004 Ya know...this is another topic for another day. But ONE six year term might be an idea I can live with.
ubhockey Posted November 2, 2004 Author Posted November 2, 2004 Forgot to mention, that after the six years, if the incumbent wins his next term is only four more years for a total of 10. 12 years is too many, 10 ain't that bad.
