buckeyemike
I kid you not...her birth name is Marijuana Pepsi Jackson. Link to Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel article. She seems well-adjusted to me. She embraces her name and her life, but she has told people not to give the same name to their children. The article is certainly worth a read. I find it hard to believe the stupidity of some parents when it comes to the selection of names for children. I believe the guy has changed it but I knew an individual that was given the name - and I mean for real - Harry Dick. How merciless was that name selection? Zona
A friend of mine was a teacher who had a Student named Chlamydia Jones. Umm, yeah. Who names their kid after an STD?
Steely Dan
Sawyer's mother, Maggie Johnson, picked her name. Her father objected but lost the argument. To this day, a lot of family members and best buds call her Pepsi. I was watching Price is Right a long time ago and they called a woman named Aquanetta. I've also met a woman named Mai Ho. buckeyemike
I think I mentioned this once before, but a fellow juvenile lawyer here in Cleveland told me that he once represented a kid named Shi'thead. Read that name again.

BillsWatch
Maybe laws in Germany limiting names are not as bad as some claim.
The Poojer
from the article "And they would cool off with a Pepsi," she said, which makes you think it's lucky for Sawyer that it wasn't Coke instead. "I thought it was crazy," her aunt said about the name, "but they were such fun-loving people that it suited them."
