BuffaloBill Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 Bowen and Ellis .... any reason to believe that they have any impact this year? Hard to say because there is not much to go on. From what little we saw I think it is fair to say that Bowen has more potential (even though he was selected two rounds later). Ellis showed absolutely nothing last season.
lets_go_bills Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 Bowen will be a contributor on special teams for sure.
WVUFootball29 Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 Bowen should find a way to contribute on STs and on passing downs. Hopefully he makes a full recovery from his knee injury because I thought he was a steal in the 5th round
OrangeJuiceSimpson Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 ellis wasn't used at all last season Ellis got a fair amount of plays. He was awful. I definitely think bowen will step in on special teams and make some plays.

Fine is the player to watch. Apparently, the team is high on him.
Lurker Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 ellis wasn't used at all last season No, he was just mostly invisible...
robkmil Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 No, he was just mostly invisible... It would be like two new draft picks if they can contribute this season
rackemrack Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Fine is the player to watch. Apparently, the team is high on him. fine did look pretty good last season
Numark Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 I think Bowen will contribute this year in some shape or form. Not sure on ellis, but way to soon to count either of them out
