Fingon Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 Just read this story...I say, go get him...lets make a run in 2010... link to play guard?
Leonidas Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 Langston Walker played guard in Oakland. I wouldn't be opposed to bringing in Pace, moving him or Peters to RT, moving Walker to LG. We would obviously have to re-work Pace's contract (same with Peters'), but we'd have a damn good offensive line.
lets_go_bills Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 They will end up releasing him...... Yup. He's old and hurtin.
SKOOBY Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 Yup. He's old and hurtin. Bring him in for a looksee if available.
BuffaloBill Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 Just read this story...I say, go get him...lets make a run in 2010... link ????? highest paid LT on the same roster with the guy that wants to be the highest paid LT ????
lets_go_bills Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 Bring him in for a looksee if available. But we don't need a left tackle. Besides, teams don't typically release good players, especially ones that play very important positions.
davefan66 Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Bring him in for a looksee if available. Nope. Old and would want $$$.
BuffaloBud Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Nooo - absolutely not. He has not put in a full season in over a couple of years. His footwork has really degraded as well.
Buftex Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 But we don't need a left tackle. Besides, teams don't typically release good players, especially ones that play very important positions. Unless they are fairly big jerks!
lets_go_bills Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Unless they are fairly big jerks! lol, I was wondering when someone would say that!
Spiderweb Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Pace, who was once a great LT, is a broken down shell of his former self. Great career, but its time to ride off into the sunset big guy.
