Buftex Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 No Tim Burton or Mark Wahlberg! Maybe they do it right this time! http://chud.com/articles/articles/17231/1/...quot/Page1.html
ajzepp Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 Wow, if this project pans out as he envisions it, it has the potential to be amazing!
Wooderson Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 Wow, I loved the original Planet of the Apes and it would be interesting to see how this one would pan out. No Tim Burton and Marky Mark on this one, so they already have a +1 in my book. Wood

Buftex Posted March 8, 2009 Author Posted March 8, 2009 Wow, I loved the original Planet of the Apes and it would be interesting to see how this one would pan out. No Tim Burton and Marky Mark on this one, so they already have a +1 in my book. Wood Agreed. I was so excited about the Burton flick. While it looked really good, the script was awful. A screenwriter buddy of mine submitted a script for that flick (he had written the oringnal script for Burton's "Sleepy Hollow") but it was rejected for being "too dark." They wanted a summer- family blockbuster type film, as it was costing a ton to make. Well, they made their money (about 360 million I think) but did anyone like that movie? This new project could be very cool, if the expectations are kept in check.

WellDressed Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 I'm sorry, it needed to be said. Beerball uses the coronet in his avatar for something other than which it was intended. ...whoops......wrong thread.
