All of the above were said by one of my political heroes, Robert M. "Fighting Bob" La Follette, the former governor and U.S. Senator from Wisconsin (1855-1925). And another of my favorites from Barry Goldwater, another of my politcal heroes: "Free people have a right to do as they damn well please."
