RayFinkle Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 Is Lavarneous Coles that much better than a Toomer or a harrison or possibly a Torry Holt? Me thinks no...I'm going to wait until all of those guys are signed/off the block before I kick and scream. Agreed. I think there are still a handful of veteran WRs who are capable of coming in here at a lower price and doing just as good a job as Coles. If they walk away from the FA market without any of them, I'll have some issues.
keepthefaith Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 Just proves NFL free agency, all about the $$, not about wining. I agree, money is undefeated. However, you think the recent winning tradition in Buffalo would have been enough to persuade him?
keepthefaith Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 HEY EVERYBODY I AM RICH AND DRIVE A BRAND NEW CADDALIAC WITH 22INCH RIMS''' IM BUYING THE BILLS DONT WORRY We don't talk cars much here, but a BMW is at least worth mentioning. Your car, well, you should keep that to yourself.
billnutinphoenix Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 Sorry, but Bengals way overpaid for a #2 receiver....

stinky finger Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 Maybe Buffalo inquires about Braylon Edwards now since its rumored he may be available for trade... Aren't Wrs actually supposed to CATCH the football?
RayFinkle Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 Actually, Holt has a congenital knee problem and will most likely never be the same. Toomer is old and slow. ...and Coles is in his prime?
BillsGuyInMalta Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 Aren't Wrs actually supposed to CATCH the football? Braylon Edwards has everything about being a WR down perfectly. Except the whole catching thing. And you kinda, sorta, perhaps need that in today's NFL. Aside from that, he's the best.
Lurker Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 Just proves NFL free agency, all about the $$, not about wining. Maybe. But this is likely Coles last payday, so good for him...
Flbillsfan#1 Posted March 5, 2009 Posted March 5, 2009 What does Galloway have left in the tank? Not being sarcastic, it's a legitimate question. It is hard to say. If healthy I would say A LOT. He has still has HANDS & SPEED two things you can't teach. He was injured last year & fell out of favor with Gruden, especially with Bryant playing so well.
