por·nog·ra·phy Listen to the pronunciation of pornography

Pronunciation:

\-fē\

Function:

noun

Etymology:

Greek pornographos, adjective, writing about prostitutes, from pornē prostitute + graphein to write; akin to Greek pernanai to sell, poros journey — more at fare, carve

Date:

1858

1 : the depiction of erotic behavior (as in pictures or writing) intended to cause sexual excitement 2 : material (as books or a photograph) that depicts erotic behavior and is intended to cause sexual excitement 3 : the depiction of acts in a sensational manner so as to arouse a quick intense emotional reaction <the pornography of violence>

I guess it depends on how you look at it.

Any printed or pictorial material containing representations of sexually obscene behavior, intended to sexually arouse its audience.

There is an obvious and necessary imprecision in this definition of the term pornography, in the sense that what is considered to be sexually obscene behavior, and, for that matter, what might sexually arouse an audience, vary quite widely from time to time, from place to place, and from individual to individual. Nearly all modern societies have laws that prohibit the possession or distribution of at least some forms of pornography, although the statutory suppression and criminalization of sexually obscene material is a relatively recent phenomenon, and is significantly predated by the legal censorship of material that was judged to be sacrilegious or antireligious (religiously obscene) or seditious or treasonous (politically obscene). Generally, laws against pornography

Personally, I see nothing wrong with it...too bad she's not topless

That's not porn - this, however, is much closer. It's the current Calvin Klein ad in Rolling Stone. Warning, besides the pic the commentary below it is NSFW.

CK Ad

The message seems to be "Hey girls, want to be gang banged by three pretty-boys? Then get in (and out of) your Calvin Kleins."

In fairness to the girl, I think it is only a double team while the other guy is stroking it on the ground. :wallbash:

You put way too much effort into this .... nice work though.

If we ever get to the point in our society where the picture of a woman in a bikini is construed as pornography then we have some real problems. The fact that people want to even suggest this is absurd. Many many other societies are far less hung up about the human body maybe we should relax a bit and worry about the real sicko's like pedophiles.

Agreed, a bikini isn't that big of deal...however freedom of speech combined with lawyers looking for millions anywhere they can gets you nutjobs like this suing and raising heck over every little thing

Yesterday, one of the "stories" on the "news" was about the photo of President Obama drinking a beer at a basketball game - and the "concern" of the "message" that would send to the "children".

This is probably where a Colt 45 reference will get someone in trouble.
