BillsGuyInMalta Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Huh...that came out of nowhere. Quick, Tim...while we have you. Whats the word on Coles? Is it good to guess that since the Bills just signed Florence and are bringing in a bunch of FAs this week that they've passed on him?
cantankerous Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Goodbye Jabari. Good signing I think...Hopefully no corner @ #11 this year!
2020 Our Year For Sure Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Huh...that came out of nowhere. My thoughts exactly. I did a bit of a double-take.

BillsGuyInMalta Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Whatcha mean? He visited OBD a few days ago. Right, but the Bills werent going to be making any moves until they knew one way or another that Coles was either signing or going. Considering the flury of FA news over the last few hours, I would guess that Coles is going elsewhere, hence the reason the money is freed up.
Peter Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 No wonder PFT is reporting that they are not trading Cromartie. It sounds like a good get.
Kelly the Dog Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Thanks for the early scoop, Tim. This gives us a little insurance next year when McGee is up, too. Hopefully Youboty is back. Then we could have four corners that we could rely on this year.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 No wonder PFT is reporting that they are not trading Cromartie. It sounds like a good get. I'm really liking our CB crew. McGee, Florence and McKelvin can hold down the top 3 spots, and who knows if Youboty can come back swinging like he started to show last season. If he does it makes our team even better
SWVABillsFan Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 Haven't seen anything yet but this thread, so until I do nothing is in stone.

BuffaloBill Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 more to come ... Wow ... given that the Jags essentially called him a negative influence in the locker room and cited him for poor play it is a bit of a surprise that the Bills would sign him. This is probably an indication that Jabari Greer is likely to sign with another team.
