What city (do you think) looked more attractive to Coles?

Cinci

or Buffalo...

I think Cinci actually might win this one...

This is about as close as Coles came to the City of Buffalo...

4:49PM: Some potentially big news. L. Coles not only left Cinci without a deal today, but I just heard that at around 3:45pm the Bills were on the phone with Roosevelt Barnes (his agent). I hate speculating when I’m supposed to be providing “reports”, but I think this is getting done in the next few hours or they are going to walk away from him.

I live in Columbus now so I do get doen to Cinci now and then and things have really started to get bad down there. I think if you were speaking strictly skyline Cinci is better but crime and their economy has gone downhill and some race issues.

I agree with PTR. Midnight tonight, or we move on. Coles has been notorious for attitude problems. Why let a punk like this hold our team hostage any longer.

As far as I can tell Coles has been a "good citizen" since coming into the NFL. Are you referring to the Peter Warrick thing?

Hopefully it's not "Baltimore bad". After seeing The Wire... i would NEVER want to live there.

Wouldn't it be funny if he was so appalled by Cincinatti that he automatically told his agent to get on the horn and sign with anyone else. Maybe we can get more free agents this way?

I heard they were monitoring the situation but that it was a real long shot.

Rotoworld has stated this btw.

Man, finally some action. These threads about the Bills not doing anything should (hopefully) disappear.

Signing a high priced, over-the-hill, Bill Parcells reject, smurf of a receiver is just what this this team needs. CHAMPIONSHIP!
