BillsGuyInMalta Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 I don't believe it. It makes sense, if they sign Florence (way to go Bills FO) they'd have Florence, Jammer, Cason and Cromartie. Thats a pretty loaded CB corps. If they could trade Cromartie for a first or second rounder, and still have their CBs locked down, why not do it?

Step 1 -- let a player walk who you thought was replaceable. Step 2 -- wait until he is released the following year because he didn't play well Step 3 -- re-sign said player Step 4 -- trade your best athlete and #1 corner now that you have the replaceable guy back in the fold genius!!!!!
San Jose Bills Fan Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Firstly it would take us a first or second round pick. And probably he'll want a new contract. Hmmmm, first round pick in 2006...Pro Bowl and All Pro in 2007...probably about $8 million per year. It's a nice fantasy though.
