Steely Dan Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Angelo Crowell-LB- Bills Mar. 1 - 4:33 pm et The Bucs are reportedly showing interest in free agent LB Angelo Crowell. Crowell, 27, can play all three linebacker positions and was a productive starter in Buffalo before knee woes caught up with him. The Bucs want veteran competition for Quincy Black, Adam Hayward, and Geno Hayes outside. Well, that sucks!!!
Steely Dan Posted March 1, 2009 Author Posted March 1, 2009 It looks like they only want him as a backup. He would start in Buffalo.
H2o Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 I think he'd start in Tampa after a preseason's worth of competition.
silvermike Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Nobody seems to be knocking down Crowell's door to offer him a big-time contract, anyway.
lets_go_bills Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Maybe we should get them back by taking a look at Derrick Brooks. lol
BuffaloBill Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 It looks like they only want him as a backup. He would start in Buffalo. This says a lot on its own.
VOR Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 This says a lot on its own. Not anymore it doesn't. The Bucs' defense died when Monte Kiffin left. Crowell could definitely start for them.
