BillsGuyInMalta Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 No...yeah...he's great Jets fans, you totally need to sign him. http://blogs.trb.com/sports/football/jets/..._tight_end.html
DanInUticaTampa Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 haha. They will probably only use him in blocking situations since they have keller, who has the potential to be a stud. I doubt royal gets a lot of playing time there. but they are more than welcome to have him.
BillsVet Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Royal to Jets? I can't think of a better place for him to end up. Probably won't get big money on the market, but he'd be the blocking TE that he should be. Well, on second thought if he ended up in Miami or New England, but they're not that dumb.
DC Tom Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Wherever he ends up, he'll probably end up going to the Pro Bowl. Just because we're Bills fans, and God loves to !@#$ with us.
Alaska Darin Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Yeah, let's wish for that. You know, so we can watch him play great in only 2 games a season. Mother!@#$ing Robert Royal.
davefan66 Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Wherever he ends up, he'll probably end up going to the Pro Bowl. Just because we're Bills fans, and God loves to !@#$ with us. Actually, I'm pretty sad Royal is gone. I loved the way he played under pressure, with those great hands of his. Man, he saved SO many games for us with those critical first down catches. I just hope he plays for the Jets, hope they sign him, as well as he played for us......serves them right....
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Adam Schechter is reporting that the Jets encouraged Royal to re-sign with the Bills.
Steely Dan Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Please, please, please God let him sign with the Jests.

Wilson from Gamehendge Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Actually, I'm pretty sad Royal is gone. I loved the way he playedunder pressure, with those great hands of his. Man, he saved SO many games for us with those critical first down catches. I knew it was a thin TE class, but damn. I didn’t have really high impressions of Robert Royal, but a quick look to my 2008 Pro Football Prospectus has this to say about Royal: One of the worst starters in the NFL at any position. Royal has hands like patio blocks, fumbles too many of the passes he does catch, and gets flagged too often to justify his rep as a blocking tight end. It goes on to say more, but it doesn’t get better. A look back to 2007 praises his prowess at his “wide variety of drive-killing abilities.” *some guy from the jets blog! HAHA, funny schit!
lets_go_bills Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 They cut Baker but would bring in this brick-handed moron.
robkmil Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Yeah, let's wish for that. You know, so we can watch him play great in only 2 games a season. Mother!@#$ing Robert Royal. I didn't care for him, but he will seem to have a big catch against the Bills as soon as he plays here for another team.
